			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong> Idukki</strong> is the second largest district in Kerala. Mountains and the forests covered the most part of the district. The district borders of Idukki are Pathanamthitta, Kottayam, Ernakulam and Thrissur are respectively with South, Southwest, northwest and to the north. Few Tamilnadu districts are also come to the border of the <strong>Idukkki </strong>District. Coimbatore, Theni and Dindigul come to the east part of the Idukki District.</p>
<p><strong> Anamudi</strong>, which is the highest peak in India is in Idukki District. There are many other peaks in the district which have more than a height of 2000m. The three important rivers of the district are Periyar, Thodupuzhayaar and the Thalayar. The most important <strong>Idukki Dam</strong> is also situated in <strong>Idukki District</strong></p>
