Peermedu is almost 915 m above sea level. It is about 45 km from Thekkady. Peermedu is a lovely hill area where we find tea, coffee, cardamom, rubber and eucalyptus plantations. Trekking becomes a hobby of the visitors of Peermedu. Horse riding and cycling are the other activities the tourists get into while being in Peermedu. The Thrissanku Hills is not to be missed while visiting Peermedu.
